I have been to a lot of shows over the past few months and to be totally honest I was getting burnt out big time! Until I went to see Scarlet Crush play. I really enjoyed this band live! I had heard one of their tracks "The Only One" on Live Magazines Zebra Mix Compilation CD and loved it! I had no idea what I was about to see. Scarlet Crush was AWESOME live! Besides the fact that the band is full of sexy studmuffins (you can find photos of the band on their website www.ScarletCrush.com or in Live Magazine back and future issues) these boys can really sing and play their instruments in an entertaining manner! You can hear major Beatles' influence in this band and let's face it who doesn't like The Beatles? I know I'm going to be looking for show dates to take friends and family to see them live. I was touched to learn that the inspiration behind one of their songs called "Oklahoma" was from the Oklahoma bombing. I have caught myself on more then one occasion humming the melody to the song "The Only One" as I drive along in my car. I found Scarlet Crush to be a breath of fresh air from the opening acts I have been seeing lately. This band is not signed from what I understand by any major label. UMM, HELLO? WAKE UP! MR.RECORD LABEL This band comes complete with their own crowd of "Band Aids" which their mother had preferred to refer to them, rather than groupies. This band is well configured and ready to be the rock stars that I know one day soon they will be.
It's only a matter of time boys, be patient and have faith, your hard work will pay off soon. I know you have plenty of faith just from listening to your music! Scarlet Crush gave me two press kits, one for me and one for anyone I might know that would be interested in this amazing band. Smart marketing boys! Their press kit was full of information and history about the band, contact information, along with photos and a CD that I have thoroughly enjoyed since I put it in the CD player but I really feel they are a lot better live now after seeing them. Scarlet Crush has a great chemistry on stage they share the spotlight which you can see in their playful antics as they belt out their spiritual and all around good-natured lyrics. I heard one of the Jeff's refer to their bassist Brett as "crazy legs" and if you see them live you will understand why he calls him that, the boy is all over the stage dancing and entertaining the crowd with his unique style of dancing. I was so glad to see a band actually entertaining the crowd rather than just starring into outer space and singing songs as if they had been singing them for so long that they don't even put any emotion into to it. Not this band, they are hungry for success and you can clearly see that as they pose for photos with fans and make their rounds after the shows to thanks their supporters. I pray that you boys continue on the path that you are following I feel it can only lead you to many wonderful opportunities with your music, I look forward to seeing more Scarlet Crush shows in the future.
